Registration – Global Summit

Registration Overview

We invite researchers, journal editors, institutional leaders, university librarians, open science infrastructure developers, and policymakers worldwide to register for the 4th Global Summit on Diamond Open Access.

In adherence to the core ethos of Diamond Open Access—ensuring knowledge remains accessible as a global public good—registration is free of charge for both in-person and virtual participants. However, pre-registration is mandatory to manage auditorium capacity, security badging, and virtual session access.

Participation Categories

Upon clearing Indonesian immigration, collecting your luggage, and scanning your mandatory electronic Customs Declaration (e-CD) QR code, you will exit into the main arrival concourse.

In-Person Attendance (On-site in Indonesia):

Grants full access to all plenary halls, thematic parallel breakout tracks, academic poster sessions, exhibition commons, networking luncheons, and official conference kits.
Capacity Constraint: In-person seating is limited by venue capacity. Early registration is strongly advised.

Virtual Attendance (Global Hybrid Access):

Grants access to interactive live-stream broadcasts for all plenary tracks, real-time multilingual interpretation channels, virtual Q&A sessions, and digital conference proceedings.

Important Notices for Registered Delegates

Official Confirmation & Invitation Letters: Upon submitting this form, you will receive an automated confirmation email. Delegates requiring an official stamped letter of invitation for travel clearance or visa processing should consult the Visa Information page.
Travel Grants & Financial Support: A limited pool of travel support grants is available for underrepresented researchers and early-career diamond journal editors from low- and middle-income nations. Application criteria and submission forms will be communicated to eligible registrants via email.
Cancellation & Delegation Transfer: If you are registered for in-person attendance and become unable to travel, please notify the secretariat at registration@globalsummit.loc at least two weeks prior to the event so your seat can be reallocated to waitlisted scholars.
